At the 2003 Science Festival, Bill Thibault presented a demo of iCIM's realtime immersive projection software. The software creates immersive displays on any surface, in this case, the walls and ceiling of a classroom. Using a cluster of typical PCs with 3D graphics accelerators, the dem software lets the user fly through an infinite grid of objects using an inexpensive USB game controller. For this demo, four projectors and four computers were used.
