Below is your score in the final and your course grade.

Thank you so much for your effort throughout the whole quarter in this class and, the most important, your patience on me.

Some of you might think the materials in this class is too much and can cause difficulties for those who are not in the field of computer science. Yes, I agree. However, what I believe is that a good teacher is not the one who gives easy A's and the one who gives snack to students to make them happy. A good teacher is the one who gives help to students, the one who offers fair assessments (homework, exams) and the one who can really make the students believe that they have learnt in a course.

I am from a grass-root-level family in a tiny city (or, you may say it's a country ... ... too confusing ... I don't know) in Asia. Some people are rich and some are not. My parents are from China and they are not very well educated since they were required to work for raising their families since they were only a few years old. In my generation, I am so lucky as I can be educated. This gives a better life to me and my family.

Starting from the next quarter, I won't go to school every day as what I did in the quarter Winter 2004. Instead, I will go to school occasionally to do research with a professor in the CS department. At the beginning of this quarter, I took me sometimes to remember the name of everyone of you (Yes, I did my best already although I had mistakes sometimes). Now, I think it's not easy for me to forget.
